DeWalt DCM849 18v XR Cordless Brushless Rotary Polisher
The Dewalt DCM849N is a 180mm Rotary Polisher powered by a brushless motor which delivers an improved performance and menaing the unit will not get bogged down or stall in heavy applications. The variable speed dial allows for easy speed changes to suit specific applications, variable speed trigger allows for additional speed control by adjusting the force applied to the switch. Lock on trigger switch allows continuous fatigue free operation, ergonomic gearcase grip increases user control, precision and comfort. The paad is roatted through 90° keeping the rear of the tool away from the work surface preventing accidental contact or scratches, ideal when working in confined spaces. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
