Brasher Men’s Country Classic Walking Shoes

Been wearing this Brasher walking shoe for years and have just replaced my second pair, which lasted close to 4 years of daily use.

Good grip on the sole and comfortable through the arch and ankle. A very well made shoe!

Lovely shoes but unfortunately they had a fault with the stitches on the tongue.
So had to return them.
However they are extremely comfortable and otherwise well made. And I really wanted a pair.
So I have re-ordered another pair.
And hopefully they will be perfect this time.
Recommend these shoes for comfort and great leather.

Received on time. Shoes looked well made. A snug fit though.
When trying on felt something digging into my foot. On close inspection, noticed poor quality stitching on the tongue. This would eventually lead to more stitches becoming loose. A pity because I really liked them.

The Country Classic shoes were a perfect fit and comfortable on the first day of wearing. Could not ask for better.

Wore these shoes for the first time on a 3 mile walk, I was amazed at how comfortable they are. They are padded all around the inside and the removable insole is excellent.
So far I am very pleased with my purchase.

Bought these on recommendation from a friend and with the discount. Arrived quickly and I absolutely love these shoes. I usually take a 10.5 but had read reviews that advised to go a size up, so bought size 11 and it was great advice. The shoes could be used as walking shoes primarily but they are also smart enough for smart casual. I wore them for three days and they are so comfortable. I often have issues with having to break shoes in but not with these. Highly recommended and think I have found shoes that I will order again and again.

I am absolutely delighted with my Brashers even after three years. They are really comfortable, and I suffer with sensitive feet due to the side effects of diabetes.
I would dearly love to be able to buy Bashers in black for more urban use. Any chance? Remember the old adage: "Never brown in town".

These shoes are well made and have a good waterproof lining. I highly recommend them.

Ibought a pair of these shoes in the Gateshead branch of Blacks last summer whilst on holiday. At first I thought they were great - comfortable, stylish, waterproof - everything I wanted. Sadly although the right shoe continued to provide good service, the left one didnt. The sole started to come away from the shoe! As i was on holiday & by now in central Scotland, I couldnt take the shoe back & had to resort to super glue! Since then the right show has been perfect but I've had to glue almost the entire left sole & heel back on to the shoe. I still wear them everyday!

Really nice looking walking shoe - colour & style perfect. These look to be a very comfortable shoe to wear for walking & waterproofed as well. It is so good to be able to buy locally to check for look & size - staff were extremely pleasant & very helpful.

Bought these as my second pair of Brasher
Country Master boots had started to leak after a years wear. These look good and even get the thumbs up from both my fashionista kids. The best thing about them is that they actually keep my feet dry! It’s a shame that they haven’t added these waterproof linings to their boots which would make them perfect. Agree with reviewer who suggested half sizes. These shoes are snug and can only be comfortably worn with lightweight socks. Have stayed warm despite this. Snow will be the test. Would like to know wether using dubbin affects their breathability?

I do a lot of walking around London so comfort is important and I did not even have to wear these shoes in, they were comfortable to wear from the off. "Road tested" in the heavy rain in recent days and kept my feet dry. They look ok when I need footwear smarter than trainers and they're waterproof. Very happy with them.

I've been a fan of Brasher shoes for many year. They are comfy, warm and last for ages. I previously bought the dark brown style pictured, and they are still perfectly wearable, but I believe these are no longer made. My new pair in mid brown seems to be the successors and my initial thoughts are positive. Glad I bought them.

Strong, good quality, suitable tread for winter and wet weather

Comfortable and looks sturdy. On the expensive side, but a quality brand.
