Artisan Golf LLC was founded in 2017 by its two founders Mike Taylor and John Hatfield. Both Taylor and Hatfield have spent the past 32 years working in the golf industry for various OEM's. Mike and John's handcrafted irons, wedges, and putters have found themselves in countless major winning bags across the world. Artisan burst onto the scene in 2018 when Patrick Reed won the Masters with two Artisan wedges in the bag. Other tour pros have followed Reed's lead in recent years, including Abraham Ancer.

Bounce Options

50 S (Square Sole)
The S Grind in the 50 and 52 has a traditional sole narrowed by some trailing edge relief. This makes them the ideal wedge for players who like to hit full shots and shots with a square clubface.

52 S (Square Sole)

54 DS (Dual-Sole) - Mid Bounce
Mike designed the DS Grind for players that like to rotate the clubface open and closed around the greens. The heel, toe and trailing edge relief means this wedge is suited for players who like to play their wedges with different clubface positions.

54 S (Square Sole) - High Bounce
The S Grind in the 54 and 56 has a traditional sole narrowed by some trailing edge relief. They have extra width and a higher leading edge height which makes them suitable for players with a mid/steep attack angle. The extra width on these two lofts also makes it the ideal wedge for softer bunkers

56 DS (Dual-Sole) - Low Bounce
Mike designed the DS Grind for players that like to rotate the clubface open and closed around the greens. This wedge is suited for players with a shallower attack angle who like to play their wedges with different clubface positions 

56 S (Square Sole) - High Bounce

58 DR (Dual Rounded Sole) - Mid Bounce
The newest addition to Mike's wedge matrix is the DR Grind. This is the perfect wedge for a player with a mid/steep attack angle who wants the versatility of the heel, toe and trailing edge relief to play shots from a variety of clubface positions.
