Outstanding in every way!

We love Regent as they make our trip very comfortable. We just celebrated my 90th birthday with the cruise to four countries in Asia - areas we have never been to. The staff is remarkable - outstanding, caring, respectful, dedicated and efficient. The food is delicious and beautifully served. We had a room steward that was always cheerful, exceptionally prompt when we had extra concerns, efficient and respectful. The staff was always ready to help when needed and in our 90s we needed a bit more than we use to. They see a need almost before we realize that we need or could use help. This is our 4th cruise (technically 5th as our Mediterranean cruise was back to back). At our age cruises are the best choice for us. It's very relaxing to have one price overall - although we on occasion do tip extra - but not having to be concerned about nickels and dimes (that's an antiquated expression) makes for a very relaxing time. Again it's the staff that puts the experience over the top!

The Regent Explorer team was absolutely incredible

We met old friends on board and made new friends—and I’m thinking of the crew! We were thrilled when we learned that Vijay Sampath would be our butler and then we walked into Compass Rose and reunited with Jessica Chlebowski, a head waiter there. We cruised with Vijay once before and this was our third trip with Jessica. Both made us feel so at home and welcomed. It’s the crew, the team that keeps things moving, that is the real Regent advantage. Explorer is an incredible ship with an incredible team. Our 4th Regent cruise and it was flawless. We have 3 more booked—which we did while onboard—and can’t wait for those as well. If we could give Regent, and this cruise in particular, more than 5 stars we certainly would. Starting with our cruise consultant, Christopher Millan, whose warmth and knowledge are exceptional, the Regent team’s commitment to excellent is second to none.

My wife and I are very focused on diet. I am carnivore, while my spouse is more paleo. We do not eat sugar and Mary does not eat ultra processed food. Our go to waiter was “King” . He always chose the best carnivore steak for me and the most nutritious options for Mary. At lunch on the pool deck staff made sure I had onions sautéed in butter as I am allergic to veg oils. Staff always cooked our breakfast omelets in butter and I wore a CGM for the duration of the cruise ( my blood sugar never spiked over 100) Afternoon trivia was always a risk but a grey goose martini with blue cheese olives did the trick. We like rooibos tea and were very surprised when crew bought some. In port and gave us the box … 6 star service! “Once you go Regent …there is no going back”
