The BCHTS36 is a cordless hedge trimmer which runs on a Black & Decker 36v lithium ion battery, meaning it shares battery compatibility with other tools in the range such as grass trimmers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and vacuum cleaners. If you already own a Black & Decker 36v battery and charger it is available as a bare tool so you don't have to buy duplicates of them, or it is also available as a complete starter kit with a battery and charger included. The BCHTS36 has a 550mm blade which is fitted with an anti-jam mechanism. This enables you to power through blockages that would otherwise stall the machine. The safety starting switch and ergonomic handles mean the hedge trimmer can be used safely and comfortably, while the low noise and light weight also ensure it is less fatiguing on the ears and arms during longer hedge trimming sessions. We bought this hand vacuum cleaner to use in our motorhome. So far it has worked well and it has a good length cable on it - it reaches from the back to the front which is approx 7 metres. Although we have to empty it several times that is not a problem. The suction is good and the hose helps to get into the harder to reach spots. Overall we are impressed with it.
