Got this to hang around the house in. It is attractive. The underskirt is a different shade of green than the overdress, which looks brown against the underskirt but green when looked at alone. Still, it is comfortable and nice looking. I will wear it in the winter. I think it might be too warm for the summer. Very happy with my purchase. I did wash it by hand before wearing and it faded enough that I would not wash it with other colors but the dress did not look faded. Did not take too long to line dry.

I love the style and fit. Size up 2 sizes to accommodate for US body to Asian size/made product and it fits as shown even on my 5’9” frame. It falls to low calf. The under slip/lower layer (the part that hangs to ankle)is a different material than main dress. Slip was a little stiff at first but 2 washes and it was good. The big problem is, it leaves grey residue on skin and bra. Even after 3 washings, one with vinegar to try to “Set” the color it still bleeds - and turns my skin a blue grey. especially everywhere it has contact with the crinkly rayon portion of the dress. For the price I live with it and hope on more washing it will improve.

Like others, after the first wash, the sleeve area split from the body of the dress. I sew, therefore, I can fix it - but a disappointment. Looks like this is common since for than a few have experienced this problem. I purchases XL wine colored and washed it before ever wearing it on delicate cycle and it tore.

Here are my thoughts. 1. I bought this dress as a costume piece for a renaissance faire and it fit perfectly except it turned out to be a little tight in the shoulders but did not restrict movement. 2. I wear a large but the sizing chart is deceiving. I bought a 3x and it was massive on me so I returned it for a large which worked out great. 3.This was my favorite dress I owned until the next day I WASHED IT IN THE MACHINE AND IT SHRUNK to a hilariously small outfit a child could wear. I do not have a clue how to clean it without destroying it so I probably will not order another. OVERALL a beautiful dress and comfortable. I used a belt for more of a form, but I only got to wear it once.
