Battery charger for the Bosch Green (garden) 36v range of lithium ion power tool batteries. Please note this charger is not suitable for 36v batteries in the Bosch Professional (Blue) range. Fitted with a 240v UK Mains plug.
Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Genuine Bosch charger so suitably chunky and of good build quality. It is idiot-proof in that there are clear logical light configurations which show power/charging/faults etc. One slight disappointment in that the charger bore some scratches due to the plug pins not having a cover in the packaging. Didn’t affect performance though so no dramas
Old charger stopped working. Ordered a new one. It works. Not much else to say! Genuine Bosch product so their usual high quality. Be aware that the older batteries have 4 slots on the connector and the new version of the charger only has 3, so you could be forgiven for thinking it won't work, but it does, so don't be concerned about this. Much cheaper than buying a new battery as well (since the battery continues to work fine). I've charged the battery several times with the new charger and am entirely happy with it.

Fantastic price - I'd seen it for twice the price elsewhere. Good to be dealing with a UK based company so I wasn't waiting a long time on shipping. Order arrived really quickly and I'm delighted that it's put my lawn mower back in action rather than having to replace the whole thing which is what my local dealer advised!!

Had my doubts at first, as this new charger has 3 pins but my original charger had 4 pins. However, it works well. Hope it lasts longer than the old one.
