The flatlock stitching involves laying one panel edge over the other, then stitching though the neoprene to make the material strong and flexible. A back zip provides an excellent water seal and allows maximum flexibility across the backpanel and shoulders.

Zipper cheap design
After having this wetsuit and using it only a handful of times throughout the year (5-6) the zipper completely pulled off of the suit rendering the entire piece useless. Very disappointed :(
