Inspiration from China and design from Italy - pendant lamp Cell

The Italian designer Matteo Ugolini, one of the main designers of the company Karman, was inspired for the design of the lamp family Cell by the millennia-old Chinese paper lanterns, which rose very delicately and filigree illuminated into the sky. The Cell pendant lamp is based on this appearance.

A cage of delicate, white metal rods is reminiscent of the round, bulbous shape of the paper lanterns. The white lampshade inside contains the light source, which emits light gently and indirectly. The open design of the cage makes Cell appear very light and gives a floating impression, especially when hung on the terrace or balcony.

The company Karman has its designer lamps produced exclusively by Italian and manual craftsmanship on site in Italy.
