Greenworks G40PSH 40v Cordless Long Reach Hedge Trimmer and Tree Pruner
A 2-in-1 machine ideal for long reach applications in the garden, the G40PSHK2 is supplied with hedge trimmer and pole saw attachments, enabling the operator to trim and maintain hedges, trees and other flora, whether at height or in otherwise inaccessible locations. The machine's 40v lithium ion battery system delivers optimum power for high performance with minimal exertion; sawing through branches and trimming the tops of hedges can be accomplished rapidly and easily, helping to reduce fatigue.
This model is supplied either complete with a battery and charger, or as a body only machine for users who do not require them. It shares battery compatibility with other tools in the Greenworks 40v cordless range, meaning you only need one battery and charger to power your garden power tool kit.
Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

I have other Greenworks products and the addition of the hedge trimmer and pruner are equally impressive in build quality and performance. Tooled-Up were competitive in their pricing with simple on-line ordering and quick delivery service.

Very impressed with this pole hedge trimmer have not used the pruner yet but so far so good, battery life is excellent, power is excellent, well designed bit of kit. Well done Greenworks this was half the price of a rival make.
Astonishing value and a very useful, if not perfect piece of kit. It's lightness and relative power - tho not on a par with petrol equivalents are it's great strengths. Both pole saw and hedge cutter are easy to use with great balance even with the extension and are perfectly adequate for most jobs and a battery lasts for ages. Cons are fiddly and leaky oil chamber on the pole saw and I guess quite plasticy build quality - tho seems to be holding up well. Oh and being electric not ideal for rainy days, though again doesn't seem to mind a certain amount of dampness
