Part of the Bosch Professional (Blue) 12v li-ion range for trade and industry, the GSR 12V-35 HX shares battery compatibility with all current Bosch Professional 12v tools as well as the older 10.8v li-ion range. Designed with everyday users in mind, the GSR 12V-35 HX has a integrated LED worklight for illuminating the work area, and a battery fuel gauge indicator on the tool. Extremely compact and lightweight, the GSR 12V-35 HX is ideal for use inside confined spaces such as cabinet installations as well as overhead work where it can be used for long periods with minimal fatigue. The locking hex chuck means it can squeeze into the tightest of spaces, and it can be used with hex shank drill bits as well as all standard screwdriver bits.

Blue Bosch 12v lithium tools are small, strong and long lasting. I have high hopes for their new brushless drills and drivers which are faster and more powerful than their already impressive predecessors.
I have been looking for a compact cordless screwdriver for several months and this one ticks all the boxes. I am a refrigeration engineer and have to remove and re-fit loads of self tapped screws, in very thin sheet steel, every day. Some engineers are using impact drivers, but this results in many ruined threads. The adjustable clutch on this machine ensures that, if set sensibly, this will not happen. Even on speed 2, the driver has ample torque, even with reasonably sized woodscrews (No. 8). And battery life seems to be more than adequate, with a 2Ah battery. This is also the only machine of its type, that I could find, that is not manufactured in China. Delivery and service from Tooled-up was really impressive. I will be using them again.
As an electrician I use it every day and it gets abused. I have had these drill drivers for years and they have improved each time I have brought them. Can keep the same batteries. This latest one is small, great control with the switch, variable torque settings, a higher speed (twin speed). A great work horse for most of my needs. Masonry, wood and screws I use it on all. If masonry too hard I get my 18v drill out. This little drill driver is a good all rounder.
