Bosch POF 1200AE 1/4" Plunge Router
A powerful 1200w motor & a variety of innovative design features give the Bosch 1200 ACE 1/4" Plunge Router the power & controllability to tackle grooving, shaping, edge forming, profiling & any number of other routing applications with the precision demanded by the exacting woodworker. The Router's speed can be preselected & continually adjusted up to 28,000rpm using the router's speed setting wheel & accelerator switch, allowing you to effectively adapt to different materials. Plunge/stroke depth is also finely adjustable in increments of 1/10mm up to a maximum depth of 55mm. The 1200 AE is packed with performance enhancing features. A solidly constructed parallel guide fence & removable low friction plastic guiding shoe enable exact control of the plunge router during use. An included bayonet fitting for template guides will come in handy for working with prefabricated templates. Safety is ensured by a transparent chip guard, giving you a clear view of the workpiece while protecting you from debris. A dust extraction adapter can be used in conjunction with an ordinary vacuum cleaner or dust extractor to remove harmful wood dust particles from your environment. Solidly built and sold at a good price.
Great little router built to the quality you would expect from bosch. Comes with three options of collet 1/4", 6mm & 8mm. The slightly higher spec model has a more adjustable depth stop which would be better than on this model but overall this was great value for money.
Good router at a good price
This item was gift to my grandson and so far he has not had time to use it.
