Makita DHP458 18v LXT Cordless Combi Drill
The Makita DHP458's high end performance is complemented by a compact & easy to handle design; at only 225mm from front to rear, the combi drill is the shortest in its class, providing a more balanced centre of gravity & improved access when working in restricted spaces. An auxiliary handle is supplied for comfortable two handed use, while twin LED job lights illuminate the worksurface from two angles for improved depth perception in poorly lit environments. Another advantage is the DHP458's exceptional resistance to damage; a dust & drip proof outer casing is supplemented by an all metal gearbox & chuck for total reliability in demanding job site conditions. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

I love makita kit, solid reliable. One last thing the case is enormous so it can't live on the same shelf as the rest of my power tools.
