Makita DML805 18v LXT Cordless LED Work Light
The DML805 is a 20 LED floodlight which can be run off either corded power or 14.4v / 18v Makita Lithium Ion batteries (not included). It features Makita's XPT Extreme protection technology for enhanced resistance against dust, liquids and adverse weather conditions and can be used as a floorstanding light or mounted on optional tripod model GM00001381 (not included). A Vice clamp is also available separately for attaching DML805s to pipes, scaffolding or studwork.

• 2-mode operation: delivers 750 lumens on High mode or 450 lumens on Low mode
• Up to 8.5 hours of continuous illumination with a 5.0Ah 18V LXT battery on High mode (battery and charger not included)
• Up to 17 hours of continuous illumination with a 5.0Ah 18V LXT battery on Low mode (battery and charger not included)
• Extreme Protection Technology - improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions (DC power only)
• L.E.D. lights illuminate work area effectively without the high heat of halogens
• Angle of flood light adjustable
• LXT battery can be installed to keep light running in the result of a loss of AC power
• AC cord is easily stored and wrapped around mounting stand base
• Integrated handle can be used as a hanging hook for user convenience
• Light will flash to alert users when running on low battery power

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
