Makita DLX2137PTJ 18v LXT Cordless SDS Plus and Combi Drill Kit
The Makita DLX2137PTJ consists of an 18v LXT Combi Drill and an 18v Rotary Hammer SDS drill, as well as four 5ah batteries, a twin port charger and two makpac cases. The DHP482Z Combi Drill is a compact and lightweight design equipped with a battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to over discharge, high temperatures or overload current. The DHR263ZJ Rotary Hammer is powered by two 18v Lithium-Ion batteries in series to supply energy to the powerful 36v DC motor drive system. There are 3 mode operations on this model; Rotation and Hammering, Hammering Only or Rotation Only. The Makpac cases are stackable with connecting clips, compatible with other makes of systainer type cases. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
