The Bosch UNIVERSALLEAFBLOWER 18V-130 is a compact cordless blower which is part of the PowerForAll 18v Alliance and shares battery compatibility with a wide variety of tools for the home and garden, from Bosch as well as other manufacturers. It comes with a two part nozzle assembly which means it can be quickly and easily dismantled for storing or transporting; additionally, you can use it with a single nozzle attached when you need less reach, e.g for blowing debris off raised surfaces. The angled nozzle tip lifts leaves up from ground level while enabling the user to maintain a comfortable standing position, and cordless power means it can be used in every corner of the garden and far beyond the reach of power sockets and extension leads. To maximise your runtime, the UNIVERSALLEAFBLOWER 18V-130 features a Bosch Syneon chip which intelligently manages energy usage and helps to keep the blower going for longer per battery charge. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Bosch PowerForAll
The Bosch PowerForAll Tool range is a range of tools you can buy knowing that batteries are compatible with all tools in the range providing they are of the same voltage. eg 18v fits 18v, 12v (10.8v) fits 12v (10.8v) etc. Please also note that 10.8v is compatible with 12v & vice versa as it is just a name change. Indego Lawnmowers also use the PowerForAll 18v battery but require a cover plate to be removed if changing.
PowerForAll has many advantages not least the fact that once you have a tool with a few batteries then there is no need to buy the more expensive versions with battery & charger, you can just go ahead & buy the much cheaper no battery versions!
So remember PowerForAll signifies complete battery compatibility throughout the range. There is however, one caveat to this, some of the very first older chargers will not charge the very latest batteries & a battery charger upgrade will be required if you have a first generation charger. All batteries fit all tools however.
As of 2021 Bosch has licensed PowerForAll to other manufacturers whereby batteries between these manufacturers will be interchangeable.
Important
You cannot use Bosch Pro (Blue) batteries in either 12v or 18v DIY (Green) products.

A good quality product delivered promptly. Very satisfied. Would use again.
I've used only used it a couple of times so I'm still getting used to the blower. It works well, but if I use it on the high-speed setting, the lower powered batteries I have don't last very long. All should be okay once I've worked out the best technique to use to move the leaves to where I want them to go!!
Tried to obtain this blower from other outlets with no joy. Had previously purchased a Bosch cordless drill + batts. The drill & blower batts are compatible, blower clears pine needles from neighbours over hanging Cedar Atlas with ease. Well pleased with delivery, for me it was win, win. Roll on Autumn.
I already have a Bosch cordless hedgetrimmer along with two 18 volt batteries so I decided to buy a cordless Bosch Garden Leaf Blower and I am absolutely delighted with this purchase. As there are only very few leaves around at present I can't really test the Leaf Blower fully but I have tried it out and I am happy with what it seems capable of doing. I intend to use it mainly to tidy up after I cut my 50m long escallonia hedge and I think it will serve that purpose excellently.
The blower is small and powerful. I bought the bare version because I have a Bosch drill and long reach hedge trimmer. The two speed blower is useful and it will move wet leaves although it it really better with dry leaves. I am happy with the purchase and I would buy this again.
A good all-round leaf blower taking the swappable battery system.
