Makita DLX2202TJ1 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Combi Drill and Jigsaw Kit
The Makita DLX2202TJ1 is a compact and lightweight cordless and brushless Combo Kit, comprising of the DHP484 Combi Drill and DJV182 Jigsaw, complete with 2 x 5.0 ah batteries and fast charger, supplied in a MakPac Type 3 Carry Case. The DHP484 is a 2 speed brushless LXT machine with all metal gears and gear housing, an electric brake and an LED worklight. It has a hammer setting for drilling into masonry and concrete as well as a standard rotary mode for driving screws and drilling into materials like wood, metal or plastic. The DJV182 is a top handle Jigsaw with soft start for smooth start ups and variable speed controlled by dial to enable the user to match the speed to the application, to deliver 800 to 3,500 strokes per minute. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
