The TE-JS 18/80 Li cordless jigsaw is a member of the Power X-Change family and can be powered by any 18v Power X-Change lithium ion battery. The chip guard and detachable cutting line guide enable precise cuts without splintering. An LED light for illuminating the cutting area together with the practical dust blower function ensure that the user has a perfect view of the workpiece at all times. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. I am a big fan of einhall tools and my latest addition of the 18 volt jig saw is really great. My last jigsaw was corded and is a bit limiting so this cordless one gives me much more freedom. The price I paid was really competitive.
