DeWalt DCMHT563 18v XR Cordless Hedge Trimmer 550mm
New for 2020, DeWalt's DCMHT563 is a cordless hedge trimmer which is powered by a DeWalt 18v XR power tool battery. Compared with the original DCM563 model it offers an increased tooth spacing of 25mm for a larger cut capacity with less jamming in thicker stems. The DCMHT563 has a lightweight, balanced design with an ergonomic overmoulded grip for comfortable handling and reduced fatigue when using the machine for longer periods. It can be used with any DeWalt 18v XR power tool battery as well as the larger Flexvolt batteries which will give it a huge increase in runtime, enabling larger jobs to be completed on a single charge if need be. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
