Robust Camera Cage

Featuring robust aluminium construction, this camera offers excellent durability and functionality in a range of different conditions. With top, bottom, and side plates, you can attach a variety of items due to the multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style threads. Moreover, the vertical NATO rails with symmetrical rosettes make it easy to attach or remove an accessory. The bottom plate features a magnetic tool spot for concealing an allen wrench key with ease.

Intuitive Top Handle

Kandor rig showcases a cheese-style top handle that attaches via a NATO rail. With multiple 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads, you can easily connect a variety of accessories without any hassle. In addition to that, this handle features ARRI-style anti-twist threads and two shoe mounts for extra device attachment capability. The top handle also features a LANC trigger port with a start and stop button to control the camera easily.

Efficient Baseplate

A great addition to the Kondor Base Rig, the ARRI-standard baseplate features a universal design, accommodating a variety of professional devices. There’s rubber padding on the bottom of the baseplate, which prevents scratches and twisting. It also helps to keep the camera in a secure position. Another excellent feature of this baseplate is that it has an ARRI-standard dovetail and supports 15mm LWS rods for additional mounting configuration. The baseplate helps stabilise the camera position.

Supportive Rods

With two 15 mm 12-inch (30 cm) PPSH rods, you get additional support when adding multiple, heavy devices. The rods feature PPSH cutouts to make them lighter and more durable. They are capable of working with lens supports, servo motors, focus systems, battery mounts, and so much more. The rods can be extended by adding optional M12 extension screws and are manufactured from aluminium alloy material, making them built to last.

Which devices are compatible with the top handle?

The top handle features multiple threaded configurations, which allow for use with a variety of devices. It can be paired with a cage or plate via a NATO rail. It is also compatible with Panasonic and JVC equipment, magic arms and handles, 15 mm rod systems, and mini quick-release plates.

How long are the PPSH rods and can they be extended?

The supplied PPSH rods have a 15 mm diameter and are 12” (30 cm) long, allowing you to work with a variety of devices. These rods can be extended to a custom length by using the M12 rod extension screws.

Can the rig be mounted on a tripod?
