The debut self-titled album released by Canadian rockers Moxy in 1975 became an instant hit for the band, especially in America. In an effort to cash in on that success, the band immediately recorded a follow-up in 1976 simply titled Moxy II. This time the album was recorded in Toronto with Jack Douglas producing. While not as strong musically as the debut, the album contained nine songs written by the band members and was almost a carbon copy of the previous effort except that there was no Tommy Bolin to help out. The album managed to produce a minor hit with the song "Take It or Leave It" and sold well because of strong live appearances and heavy promotion by the label. This release by Unidisc Records is a straight reissue of the original Mercury/ Polydor Records album at a budget price complete with original artwork but, unfortunately, it contains no bonus tracks.
