THE S.L.P.
The S.L.P. is a solo project created by Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno who came up with the concept during a brief hiatus from Kasabian in 2018. The S.L.P.'s self-titled debut album was released in 2019 and is a collection of eleven tracks recorded in Pizzorno's home studio in Leicester, England. The lead single from the album is 'Favourites', a track featuring the emerging UK rap artist Simbiatu Ajikawo, better known as Little Simz. The track highlights Pizzorno's concerns about the way people present themselves on social media. The accompanying promotional video for 'Favourites' was directed by Aitor Throup using a groundbreaking time remapping technique.
