For the price the jacket does the job it is supposed to. It also comes with a small bag allowing you to carry it.

Not Fit For Purpose

I gave a review for this jacket regarding the hood and my belief that one would sweat if they wore it. At that point I hadn't wore the jacket.

The next day I wore the jacket, because I was going to the home of my daughter and son-in-law, to walk their dogs. The journey to their home takes one hour and by the time I reached their home, I took of my jacket and my sweater was soaking wet through.

I didn't wear the jacket again. I walked the dogs cold and wet.

When I came home I turned the jacket inside out, to dry it. Once it was dry I gave the jacket to a charity. I had only paid £8 for the jacket, so there was no point in returning it to 'Go Outdoor'.

I find it rather strange that when I wear the waterproof trousers which are the same make and material as the jacket, the trousers I wear underneath the waterproof trousers are bone dry.

As one can imagine, I do not recommend this waterproof jacket.

You Get What You Pay For

While the jacket is ok, I would imagine you would sweat in it if you wore it for any length of time.

I also unpacked the hood before I put the jacket on and I noticed it was not put together as the hoods on my other jackets. In other words, the hood looked like it was hanging on by a few threads at the back of the jackets

I thought the hood might look different when it was used. I was wrong, it was unusable.

Although I am not happy with the jacket and especially the hood, I can't complain because I only paid £8 for it.

Tomorrow I will take the jacket to a local charity store, someone might find a use for it.
