but the materials let them down. Where my toes flex on the ball of my feet the "painted on plastic" over the fabric cracked and broke - I ended adding cycle repair patches to keep them together.

Brilliant shoe for summer walking. Light, cool and comfortable,yet sturdy with good gripping sole for rougher walking. Will probably buy the boots as well!

Lovely fit, and all round great trainer. I wear these daily and they seem to be a great fit. Do just what I need them to, especially when paired up with wool socks in this heat!

These trainers are lightweight, breathable and very comfortable. I have narrow feet and need support on my arches and the Siren Edge tick all of the boxes. Only downside is that they are not waterproof but I was aware of this before I purchased them.

try on other shoes in outdoor shops but always revert to Merrells.

I bought these shoes as I am walking up Snowdon for the Christie. Having had cancer I wanted to give something back. I have worn the shoes to walk into Lyme Park and up Kinder Scout. And my feet are the only thing that did not ache after. They are worth every penny for me. I haven't worn them in amy wet conditions so not sure how they would fair then

I bought them for the walks in country side. They are comfortable and very light and also look good. I am wearing them to walk to work. I think I can walk faster in them, too.

Stud came out of hole after only wearing them twice.... will be taking them back for exchange

I bought these after much searching in Go Outdoors. I've been wearing them about the house with the Bridgedale socks I bought at the same time. WOW! So comfortable - can't wait to go walking in Scotland.

I have a narrow foot and find it hard to get footwear to fit, but these lace up snugly and are very comfortable. The laces stay fastened too! They also look smart and I'm very pleased with them.
