The Caldene Westfield Wellingtons have a classic, traditional look, with a textured embossed matt finish, and are tough, supportive and comfortable thanks to their steel shank for durability and support.
Zero stars. Shoddy quality. Warm and comfy BUT after less than 6 mths use for dog walking (bought April 2019) split on top of boot and not fit for purpose. Hold out little hope of getting replacement.
Very disappointed with these wellies I bought them November , wore them till April, put them away for summer, brought them out the following November and within a couple of weeks they had split, so annoying, they are not cheap wellies and would expect to get more than 6 months out of a pair of wellies! I have emailed Caldene, which is Harry Hall, but got NO RESPONSE! Nice people to do business with !!
I absolutely love these wellies they are soo comfortable and warm, but they DO NOT LAST! This is my 2nd pair and they crack and leak so won’t be buying again.
Iv given these a four star not had them long and we haven’t really had the weather to wear them but so far so good
After 5 months these wellies have worn through at the heel and now leak. That means it's cost me about £12 a month for the privilege of getting wet muddy feet. I'm annoyed that I paid so much for them and am going to try and return them.
When my first pair of these boots gave in after 3+ years of use, I went for the same thinking what a great product this was. Well, the new pair did not last 3 MONTHS before the sole cracked on one and the top on the other. Extremely disappointing for this amount of money.
As a farm worker these boots were ideal with the neoprene lining. Unfortunately they only lasted a few weeks before they cracked and a hole formed in the bottom. Bought at full price, I was expecting a lot more use. Disappointing and won't buy this brand again.
Very sturdy with good grip in snow and mud
Although the lining and sole of the wellies is warm and comfy, I find them a little bulky.
Down side I found them cheaper from another shop, emailed go outdoors but got no response
These are comfortable and warm wellies at a reasonable price. The only downside is that when taking the wellies off, the insole tends to come out too.
I love the fit and look of these wellies but unfortunately my original boots only lasted a few months before developing cracks on the foot, so they were no longer waterproof. I had a replacement pair but the same story - this time both boots developed a leak in the seal between the boot and the sole. Needless to say I won't buy them again as they are just not built to last. Shame.
No leaking problems so far. The best wellies I have ever had. Extremely comfortable (you can walk for hours), super warm, and my feet hardly sweat in them. The only drawback is the inner sole. It is too soft at the heel and easily slips backwards, leaving the front of your toes without any sole. However, this can easily be corrected by buying a pair of trainer inner soles.
So top marks for a fnatastic wellie!
Had a pair of boots for Christmas 2015. I needed them for dog walking. By end of April they had split round the heel so I returned them and was given a replacement pair. Unfortunately, after a few months, these split across the top by the crease so despite being very comfortable when they were new, they are not worth the money spent on them.
Bought as a Christmas present, and used for light dog walking when it's wet (not in summer, so very light use). In about a year, both boots split across the top where foot bends. Obviously something wrong with quality of materials that Caldene don't care about. Waste of money, won't buy from them again.
Being a daily dog walker and winter upon us walking boots just don't cut the bogs so wellies are needed! These are super comfy but super heavy, the heaviest wellies I've ever owned which are cumbersome at times. I couldn't get over a style with elegance, I looked more like a 16stone beefcake with two left feet. Whilst my husband was throwing himself over styles with his cheapo dunlops I was still two styles behind. After a 9 mile hike today through bog filled fields with the dogs my butt hurts as if I've done 400 butt presses as I've been dragging these heavy boots around. My only glimmer of hope is if I wake up tomorrow with an butt like the Kardashians if I do I'll amend to 5stars.
Comfortable and Warm Wellies.
I have owned a pair of Westfield Wellington Boots for over a year now with regular use at the yard, as well as on the camp site and on short walks. I can say that they are by far the best pair I have ever owned, and are manufactured to a high level of quality. The sole is extremely sturdy, more like a boot than other flimsier wellies; and the neoprene lining offers a great level of insulation (for the really cold mornings I'd recommend a pair of Heat Holder Socks too).

These wellies we absolutely fab... but for only 3 months. Granted I do a lot of miles per day walking dogs ( up to 15 or so miles every day) and I don't normally have a pair that last me more than a month or two. I would highly recommend these for light dog walking or outdoor garden work but as usual in my case both feet cracked/split around the ball of my foot where it bends making the wellies useless. Otherwise very comfy,,, for wellies!! Still on the look out for a pair that last longer!!
I bought a pair which leaked from day 1 the replacement pair started to leak after 4 months, so not worth the money. Very disappointed and definitely would not buy them again.
As a farmer - wellies are essential! These are my favourite ones so far, this is now the 2nd pair I have owned. My first pair (not bought from here) were great but the neoprene wore at the heel after a year but I do wear them everyday. I tried this company as it was reasonable priced and in stock which I was struggling to find them anywhere else! best wellies so I highly recommend
These were expensive and are now a lot cheaper which tells you something.... worn them seldomly for less than 2 years, despite having looked after them, they are now cracking along the top of both feet. Soles are hardly worn..... Very poor.
