This combo version of the Shires StormBreaker Rug benefits uses a ‘cocoon’ style neck cover, which fastens with double layer touch close straps, and a ShireTex® 840 denier waterproof, breathable outer shell with taped seams.
The fully-lined inner is 300g fill and quilted, which helps encourage a shine to the coat.
Deep shoulder gussets, quick clip adjustable breast fastenings, adjustable cross surcingles and leg straps and a large pleated tail flap make the Stormbreaker Combo very effective and protective, and easy to put on and take off.
Reflective strips help make your horse visible in the fading light.

Really good rug got it last year in sale !
Good rug, has kept my little mare warm last year and this year! Never soaks through even in the worst weather, would definitely recommend!!!!!! And she's fully clipped and still happy in this rug .

Pretty good!
Overall the rug is really good medium weight with a good hood. Very durable and material is of high quality. Really like the design of it for my FriesianX across the neck. Only down point would be that it doesn't feel very medium like my other rugs however it's still a great buy

A Mighty Good Rug
The first thing I noticed on picking up my 6'9" rug was the weight. Surprisingly heavy, and when on my 17hh mare it formed a cosy wrap around shape that would be very hard to improve. No worries when the Winter storms come.

Shires storm breaker combo
Fantastic value for money. Bought my mare a size 6.6 which is a perfect fit for her 16.2 hh.
High quality stitching, material and various fasteners and love the snug hood that doesn't droop. My mare is snug as a bug in a rug during cold and very wet weather! Definitely recommend.

Shires Stormbreaker 300g Combo
So very pleased with this rug, It is deep on the belly and also the tail, the neck fits beautifully giving plenty of room for movement but snug behind the ears, not tight though so doesn't irritate. I can rest assured that my old boy is toasty warm and dry as a bone. Well worth the money, Shires Rock :-)

Bought this rug in the summer and just started using it, my horse likes to lie down in the mud and it doesn't shift, looks like I just put it on when I come out in the morning (apart from all the mud!). He really does look very snug and feels warm with this on. The water just runs off the surface, very impressed would recommend.
