SVENDSEN EPV2 Spin Rod, 10ft, 30-80g

This rod feels very light and cheap. It's badly balanced and has a sloppy, floppy action totally unsuited to jerk-bait or plug fishing.

Avoid this and put the £15 towards a better quality rod.

Excellent Mackerel Spinning/Float rod, So good that first cast I caught a bass at 5 & 1/2 lbs great fight and payed for itself at supermarket prices, But being the sportsman I put it back to breed.

i have been using an older version of this rod for the last few years , for cuddle fish spinning and for light bottom fishing off the rocks with a medium lead.. As it is a cheap rod i do not worry about all the scratch marks it get,, i find it surprisingly casts a good distance , the tip shows all the small bites ,,,
I bought two more of these mainly for a standby for when i break a ring,, AT 13 pounds each they were a bargain..

I use this rod as a long range feeder. It's brilliant! It has a sweet action and with my baitcaster reel puts the feeder out a very long way. It easily handles double figure carp and has the quality feel of a rod 10 times it's price. On rivers it's great. You could even use it as a light sea rod.
A true allrounder and at under a tenner a very happy customer.
